Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother working and going to practice sessions for plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as just a child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor's' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in an Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20th 2013 that the series was returning for a fourth season of production. Fourth season premiered on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
